The Water Rights Settlement will also affect us on Eastern Navajo in regards to the protection of our sole source of pristine drinking water from Hydro Resources, Inc (HRI)–>who wants to use our water supply for their In-Situ Leach (ISL) uranium mining operation. The precedent must be the rejection of all potential threats to our water on Navajo beginning with the Navajo Nation Council voting "NO" on the Arizona "Settlement"; 23 Chapters on Eastern have resolutions opposing HRI's plan to contaminate our water with the ISL method that has proven to be unsafe and dangerous [in defiance of an NN Moratorium and NNC Ban on uranium Mining]. This is truly a Human Rights issue! On Election Day, remember who voted "Yes"–>REDUCE THE COUNCIL!!!
