as i heard it, no navajo has the authority to barter away natural resources, such as land and water. natural resources like water and land are the foundation of the navajo state.
so far, few navajo are informed of this issue.
its necessary to spread the word about another 'water steal'.

Thank you Dinewaterrights.org for the info. This info is needed to be shared with all. The water issues here pertain to all water that is in the ground, on top of the ground and what is flowing through our rez. The ENTIRE NATION should be concerned since water is an important life sustaining element. It is a sad shame that our own elected officials and nation employees would try scheme our water rights right from under our noses as if they don't even care about their own children/grandchildren.

Ahe' hee'. This is right on! We need to work on building networks to balance out the tyranny being exhibited by the rogue NN Council. This website is a godsent. I will send out the message to those whom I know. I grew up next to the Little Colorado…when it used to run most of the year. There is a HUGE aquifer underneath, I'm sure Flagstaff has it's greedy eyes towards an access to OUR WATER RIGHTS. We must stop this theft now!!!!

thank you so much for making this form available! I'm in shock that this is happening, I am in the process if going through my homesite lease and have plans to develop a farm.. if this passes, it will impede my plans to contribute to my community and build a sustainable home for my family.
